The Talent Factory has always been my second home. I started here at just three years old and fell in love with every team I joined—whether it was our acrobatic team, Spotlights, our competitive dance team, Showstoppers, our ballet company, Talent Techniques & Co., or our all-star cheer program, Viper Athletics. Every moment shaped who I am today.
Now, as Co-Owner of The Talent Factory alongside my incredible partner, Andrea Roberts - @talentfactoryofficial, and as Director of Viper Athletics, I’m beyond grateful to give back to the place that gave me so much. With the unwavering support of my husband, Cody, and our two amazing children, Colt and Clint, I continue to live my dream every single day.
I was trained in all styles of dance and cheer, which laid the foundation for my future. I spent four unforgettable years as part of the Ayala Spiritleaders, then continued dancing in college. My passion for performing led me to cheer professionally for the Los Angeles Lakers, the Los Angeles Avengers, and the San Diego Chargers—experiences I’ll never forget.
Even while performing, coaching was always close to my heart. I began coaching at The Talent Factory while still in high school and have had the privilege of working with many local high school teams since. My students are my inspiration, and I hope to prepare them for their futures just as my mentors prepared me.
This season marks a major milestone—my 25th season of coaching—and I couldn’t be more proud or excited for what’s to come!

Sommer Ferree
Head Gymnastics Coach
Coach Sommer Ferree is the heart and soul of The Talent Factory. Born and raised in the very gym she now leads, Coach Sommer has dedicated her life to the sport of gymnastics and the athletes who share her passion. A former Showstopper for 15 years and a competitive gymnast, she brings decades of experience, discipline, and heart to every practice and performance.
Now celebrating her 30th year coaching at The Talent Factory, Coach Sommer also brings her expertise to Viper Athletics, where she continues to motivate and inspire the next generation of gymnasts. Her coaching style is a blend of high standards, unwavering encouragement, and a genuine love for the sport and her athletes.
Beyond the gym, Coach Sommer is a proud wife and mother of two—Autumn (23) and Jake (16). Her dedication to her family mirrors the deep care and connection she builds with every athlete she coaches.
Passionate, inspiring, and fiercely committed, Coach Sommer isn’t just building great gymnasts—she’s shaping strong, confident individuals ready to shine in and out of the gym.

Zaida Pena
Viper Head Coach & Assistant Director
Zaida brings passion, dedication, and a winning legacy to her role as Head Coach and Assistant Director at Viper Athletics All Star Cheer. Now in her fourth year coaching at Vipers, Zaida’s journey has come full circle—she grew up cheering with the program and now leads the next generation of athletes where it all began.
With eight years of All Star cheerleading experience and a background in high school cheer, Zaida is no stranger to the mat. She is a proud NCA Champion and holds numerous championship titles, bringing both skill and heart to every practice and performance. Cheerleading has given her some of the best memories of her life, and now she continues building those moments through the success and spirit of her Vipers athletes.
Off the mat, Zaida is supported by her husband, Oscar, and finds her greatest joy in being a mom to her two sons, Elijah and Easton. Her love for cheer and family fuels her commitment to creating a positive, empowering environment for every athlete she coaches.
Ali Santiago
Viper Head Coach & Assistant Director
Ali brings energy, heart, and a lifelong connection to Viper Athletics as another Head Coach and Assistant Director. Now in her fourth year of coaching, Ali’s cheer journey first began at a young age, taking her from All Star Cheerleading to the Ayala High School sidelines and into the collegiate cheer world at San José State University.
She is a proud product of Viper Athletics, having competed Levels 2 through Level 5 skills. She has won many championships with the our program and continued to compete as a finalist at major high school and collegiate nationals, including USA and UCA, bringing a high level of competitive experience and passion to her coaching today.
Ali understands the power of balancing hard work with unforgettable memories. She is committed to creating an environment where athletes build not only skills, but confidence, character, and a true love for the sport. Her goal is to make every practice a place where passion meets purpose!
Wesley Shain
Viper Athletics Coach
Introducing Coach Wes!!! As a proud alum of Viper Athletics (formerly Talent Factory & Chino Valley All-Stars), he’s coached athletes of all ages and levels, always driven by his deep passion and unwavering purpose. His dedication has shaped him into not only a decorated and successful athlete, but also a respected coach who inspires those around him.
A World All-Star Cheerleading Champion, Coach Wes made history in 2009 as part of the iconic California All-Stars Cali Coed team—earning their first-ever gold medal. His diverse coaching experience has transformed high-school and college cheer programs and other cheer organizations in Southern California. Coach Wes’s cheer career started in Nashville with Premier Athletics and grew with relentless support from his mentor, Coach Mike Guiterrez.

Viper Athletics Coach
Macy is entering her third season with Talent Factory Vipers. With a strong background in both gymnastics and cheerleading, she earned the title of NCA Champion, and went on to cheer at the collegiate level.
Her deep knowledge of the sport, combined with her commitment to building strong, confident athletes, keeps her passion for the sport alive.
Coach Macy’s greatest joy comes from watching her athletes grow-not just in skill, but in character. Her love for her team runs deep, and she leads with heart, gratitude, and purpose. Her ultimate goal is to make a lasting impact, empowering the girls to succeed not only as cheerleaders, but as young women in life beyond the gym.
Felicia Simko
Viper Athletics Coach
We are so excited to welcome Coach Felicia to our Viper coaching family! Not only is she a dedicated and experienced cheerleader-turned-coach, but she’s also a proud cheer mom—known and loved by many as Skylar’s mom!
She brings a rich background in cheerleading, having started her journey with the Vipers (formerly CVAS), where she competed for 7 years. She went on to cheer all four years at Ayala High School when it was a competitive program, and capped off her cheer career at Mt. SAC. There, she had the incredible opportunity to compete at NCA College Nationals in Daytona, facing off against top-tier teams like Navarro and Trinity Valley.
